Practice 01 · Advisory Services
Advisory built for organizations with no margin for error.
Operational improvement, revenue-cycle optimization, and strategic counsel — principal-led, scoped to named outcomes, and delivered with the audit trail attached.
Healthcare leadership has never had less margin for error. Reimbursement is harder, regulators are sharper, and the cost of a misstep — financial, reputational, regulatory — has never been higher. GCX Health exists for the organizations that will not accept a tradeoff between growth and compliance, and that need a partner who has stopped accepting it too.
What the Practice Covers
Three advisory disciplines.
Operational Improvement
Cost structure, throughput, productivity, and care-delivery efficiency for organizations under margin pressure. Operational improvement engineered to land — not just to recommend — within the regulatory and labor reality you actually operate in.
- Clinical operations & throughput
- Workforce productivity
- Vendor & supply spend
- Service-line economics
- Billing, intake & documentation scale-up
Revenue-Cycle Optimization
Reimbursement performance and revenue integrity, with documentation built into the engagement — not bolted on at the end. We help organizations recover revenue that’s already been earned.
- Reimbursement leakage analysis
- Denials & appeals management
- Payer mix & contract performance
- Underpayment recovery
- Revenue integrity programs
Strategic Counsel
Evidence-based counsel on growth, market access, M&A readiness, and competitive positioning. We earn the right to a recommendation by showing the data, the precedent, and the reasoning.
- Market & competitive analysis
- M&A and partnership readiness
- MSO, payer & acquisition counsel
- New service-line entry
- Board-level strategy
The Engagement Model
Scoped to outcomes. Documented to defend.
Every advisory engagement follows the same arc — so you know on day one what done looks like.
Discovery
A scoped diagnostic, typically 2 to 4 weeks. We name what is achievable, by when, and on what evidence — before you commit to anything larger.
Engagement
Typically 90 to 180 days, structured around named outcomes with defined service-level commitments measured in performance, not hours billed.
Documentation handover
Complete at engagement close; reviewed jointly with your compliance and legal functions. The work is packaged for board, CFO, and regulatory review.
Post-engagement
Optional standing advisory at reduced rates, for leadership teams that want the counsel to continue past the engagement.
Why Organizations Choose Us
Recommendations you can take to the board, the CFO, and the compliance officer in the same meeting.
Bring us the problem your last consultant left behind.
A confidential conversation costs nothing and commits you to nothing. If we are not the right firm, we will say so — and suggest who is.
